Transportation

The only way to reach Railay Beach is by boat. Longtail boats operate from Ao Nang and Krabi Town (Ao Nam Mao Pier). The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes from Ao Nang and 45 minutes from Krabi Town. Boats typically depart when they have a sufficient number of passengers. There are no roads connecting Railay to the mainland.
